Statement on the Announcement of Omer Neutra’s Death
Ashburn, VA – Today, the Israeli military announced that Omer Maxim Neutra, a Long Island, New York native who was believed to be held hostage in Gaza, was killed in the attack on October 7th, 2023. Congressman-elect Suhas Subramanyam issued the following statement:
“I was heartbroken to hear of Omer Neutra’s death. As we grieve this loss, I am committed to doing everything in my power to create long-term peace in the region, and I call for the return of all hostages as well as the bodies of those murdered so they can have a proper burial.”
