Senator Suhas Subramanyam Raises Over $407K in Q1 2024
Subramanyam outraised 11 other candidates, entering April with strong momentum
Ashburn, VA – Today, Senator Suhas Subramanyam, Obama White House Alumnus and Candidate for Virginia’s 10th Congressional District, announced raising over $407K for his campaign in Q1 2024.
Subramanyam raised the most money out of any candidate who lives in the district. Subramanyam goes into April with the second-highest cash on hand out of all 12 candidates, when you exclude others' refundable loans.
Subramanyam now boasts over 1,000 individual donors.
“I am incredibly grateful for the community support behind my candidacy for Congress.” said Senator Subramanyam. “We’re building the strongest campaign to keep Jennifer Wexton’s seat blue. I have been representing VA-10 constituents in Richmond for almost half a decade and to know that I have so much support to represent them in Congress is nothing short of incredible.”
The fundraising news comes on the heels of Subramanyam’s sole endorsement from Asian American Action Fund, as well as the sole endorsements from Indian American Impact Fund and Hindu American PAC, solidifying Subramanyam as the candidate with the most Asian American support for the seat.

Senator Suhas Subramanyam has dedicated his life to public service as a State Senator, Obama White House advisor, Capitol Hill staffer, and as a Loudoun volunteer firefighter/EMT. In Richmond, he has worked across the aisle to pass gun violence prevention bills, protect democracy, and defend abortion rights. Senator Subramanyam is best positioned to keep VA-10 in Democratic hands because he represents more VA-10 constituents than any of the 16 primary election candidates, and he has consistently outperformed the Democratic ticket and delivered for his constituents. Suhas resides in Ashburn, Virginia (in VA-10) with his wife, Miranda, and their two daughters.
