League of Conservation Voters Action Fund Endorses Senator Suhas Subramanyam for Congress
Subramanyam’s 100% Voting Record Lands Endorsement of Influential Environmental Group
Ashburn, VA – Today, Senator Suhas Subramanyam, Democratic Nominee for Virginia’s 10th Congressional District (VA-10), announced the endorsement of the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund.
Subramanyam has earned a 100% voting record from the Virginia League of Conservation voters every year he’s been in the Virginia General Assembly (2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020), being named a “Legislative Champion” each year.
The LCV Action Fund works to elect leaders who stand up for a clean, healthy environment and to defeat anti-environment candidates who oppose climate action. Over the last several years, their efforts have also helped elevate climate change and clean energy as critical issues in key elections.
“After this week's devastating Supreme Court rulings on top of the extreme heat impacting Northern Virginia and much of the country, it is clear we need elected officials like Senator Suhas Subramanyam who will put the health and safety of people over Big Polluters and corporate interests, protect our democracy, and fight for our communities and future generations,” said LCV Action Fund Senior Vice President for Government Affairs Tiernan Sittenfeld. "Senator Suhas Subramanyam has been an environmental champion in the Virginia General Assembly, and LCV Action Fund is thrilled to support his campaign to prioritize protecting public health, tackling the climate crisis, and fighting for a clean energy future for all Northern Virginians and people across the country.”
“The League of Conservation Voters does such important work protecting our planet for future generations,” said Virginia State Senator Suhas Subramanyam. “I’m honored to earn their support, and I’m proud to stand with them 100% of the time. In Congress, I will continue to support the transition to renewable energy and protect our natural resources so that future generations can enjoy a habitable planet, just as I have in the Virginia General Assembly.”
