(Sterling, Va.) - Senator Tim Kaine has endorsed Suhas Subramanyam, Democratic nominee for Delegate in the 87th House District.

“I'm proud to endorse Suhas Subramanyam for Virginia House of Delegates' 87th District. As an attorney, a member of the Loudoun County Health Council, and a former technology adviser to President Obama, Suhas has shown his dedication and service to our community on issues like health care, education, and key democratic reforms,” said Sen. Kaine. “I know that Suhas has the experience and commitment to get results for families in Loudoun and Prince William Counties. I am proud to support him, and I look forward to working with him when he is elected to the House of Delegates."

“I’m honored to have the support of Senator Kaine,” said Subramanyam. “His dedication and hard work on behalf of all Virginians is admirable, and I am excited to work with him to keep the 87th blue, flip the General Assembly, and get to work for the betterment of Virginia.”

Sen. Kaine joins Representative Jennifer Wexton and Attorney General Mark Herring in his endorsement for Subramanyam’s candidacy. Subramanyam has also been endorsed by several leaders in the General Assembly, including Delegates Kathleen Murphy, John Bell, and Mark Sickles; as well as state Senators Chap Petersen, David Marsden, Barbara Favola, and Adam Ebbin.
