(Sterling, Va.) - Suhas Subramanyam, Democratic candidate for Delegate in District 87, has received the endorsement of Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring.
“I’m honored to have the support of AG Herring,” Subramanyam said. “His leadership on criminal justice reforms, access to affordable healthcare, and immigrants’ rights make him an asset to the Commonwealth. I am excited to have his endorsement and I look forward to working with him if I am elected.”
“Suhas has devoted his career to public service – from serving President Obama to working as a volunteer firefighter with the Loudoun County Fire Department – and fought for better access to healthcare, helped protect the rights of immigrants, and worked to increase opportunity for all,” said AG Herring. “Suhas will be a tireless advocate for the residents of the 87th District, working to pass common sense gun safety measures, reduce traffic congestion, and make healthcare more affordable and accessible.”
Subramanyam is an attorney, small business owner, and volunteer firefighter in Loudoun County. He is the Democratic nominee for Delegate in the 87th District. AG Herring joins other elected officials from across Virginia in his endorsement, including Del. John Bell (D-Chantilly), Sen. Dave Marsden (D-Burke), Sen. Adam Ebbin (D-Alexandria), Del. Kathleen Murphy (D-McLean), Sen. Barbara Favola (D-Arlington), Sen. Chap Petersen (D-Fairfax), Del. Mark Sickles (D-Franconia), and Loudoun County Chair Phyllis Randall.
