(Sterling, Va.) - Suhas Subramanyam, Democratic candidate for Delegate in District 87, has been endorsed by End Citizens United, a grassroots group dedicated to supporting candidates who advocate for campaign finance reform. Subramanyam is one of four House of Delegates candidates in Northern Virginia endorsed by ECU.
“I’m honored to be endorsed by End Citizens United,” said Subramanyam. “From the beginning, I have made democratic reforms like campaign finance reform a central point of my campaign. I believe that people, not dark money, should decide the future of our state and country, and I am proud to be a proponent of common sense reform on this issue.”
“These four candidates have pledged to fight for measures to increase accountability and transparency in Richmond and reduce the influence corporate special interests in Virginia politics,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller. “ECU is proud to endorse these reformers, and we look forward to using our network of Virginia grassroots supporters to help them win in November.”
Endorsed candidates are selected for their commitment to common sense campaign contribution limits and to eliminating dark money in politics.
