Representative Jennifer Wexton (D-Virginia 10)

I’m excited to endorse Suhas Subramanyam for Delegate in the 87th District. Suhas has served our community in a number of ways, including as a member of the Loudoun Health Council and through his community service work. Suhas has the experience to stand up for families in the 87th District, having also served on Capitol Hill and in the Obama White House, where he fought to expand healthcare access, grant protections to immigrant families, and address some of the most pressing technology challenges in the country. I have no doubt that if Suhas is elected in November, he will be an asset to his district and to all of Virginia. I encourage everyone in the 87th to vote for Suhas on Tuesday, November 5th, and help elect a dynamic young leader who will help us move Virginia forward.

I am proud to endorse Suhas Subramanyam for Delegate. He is what we need to move our Commonwealth forward. Suhas has devoted his career to public service – from serving President Obama to volunteering in Loudoun County. He has fought for better access to healthcare, helped protect the rights of immigrants, and worked to increase opportunity for all. Suhas will be a tireless advocate for the residents of the 87th District, working to pass common sense gun safety measures, reduce traffic congestion, and make healthcare more affordable and accessible. I am proud to support Suhas Subramanyam, and I hope voters in the 87th District will vote for him on Tuesday, November 5th.

Delegate John Bell, current 87th District Delegate

Delegate John Bell

I am thrilled to announce my endorsement of Suhas Subramanyam for the 87th House District. It has been an honor and privilege to serve this community, and I am confident that Suhas is the best candidate for the 87th District.

It is clear to me that Suhas has the courage, work ethic, and compassion needed to be an outstanding advocate for families in Loudoun and Prince William Counties. In a bitterly divisive political environment, Suhas will be a strong advocate for the safety, security, and prosperity of our community. He has already demonstrated his dedication to the people of the 87th through his extensive community service endeavors.

Suhas has also shown an ability to get results in government. Whether it was fighting for affordable health care, veterans, and immigrant children on Capitol Hill, or making government services more efficient and effective as a technology policy advisor to President Obama, Suhas has worked on many of the toughest issues we have faced in our country and gotten results. We need people like Suhas in the General Assembly, and I strongly endorse his candidacy.

Phyllis Randall, Chair of Loudoun County Board of Supervisors

I am announcing my endorsement for Suhas Subramanyam for Delegate in District 87. As Chair At-Large of the Loudoun Board of Supervisors, I know he is a young leader in the community that I believe will be an important voice to represent the constituents of the 87th District while in Richmond.

His work on the Loudoun Health Council speaks to Suhas’ dedication to put the needs of Loudoun families first.

I’m looking forward to supporting Suhas as he advocates, promotes and finds solutions for us locally in Loudoun County and throughout the 87th District.

Denis McDonough, Former White House Chief of Staff to President Obama

I am proud to endorse Suhas because I know he will improve the lives of Loudoun and Prince William families. Suhas is a hard worker, tenacious consensus builder, and honest leader who constantly fights for what is right. I have seen him managing emergency meetings in the Situation Room, working long hours running the Technology Policy Task Force, and ensuring a smooth transition of power and the preservation of several of President Obama’s programs. In every one of these situations he always put what was best for working families over partisan politics and personal gain.

If the voters of District 87 choose to elect Suhas, the families of Loudoun and Prince William Counties will see what we in the Obama Administration saw: a genuine person, true leader, and tireless worker who can help restore trust in our government and lend a voice to working families.

Aneesh Chopra, Former White House Chief Technology Officer

I wholeheartedly endorse Suhas as the Delegate for the 87th District. He showed himself to be a great public servant and true progressive while continuing my work in the CTO's office, using technology to make people healthier, provide people with more economic opportunities, and make our government more accountable and transparent. He was often assigned difficult tasks, like running one of the first task forces dedicated to bringing technologists to the policy table and fighting to preserve Obama-era projects during the transition to the Trump Administration, but he was always able to find a solution. He is a true public servant and problem-solver in government. I know he has the experience, track record, and relationship with the community to be a great Delegate for the people of Loudoun and Prince William Counties.
